There’s a New Pastor in Town
Sr. Pastor Bill and Jodi Sy
Summer was a new beginning for the Open Door Christian Church of Novato as Pastor Bill Sy came on board as Senior Pastor.
Pastor Bill and his wife Jodi served some 20 years in other churches before his joining the staff at Open Door Church as its new senior pastor. Along with church pastoring, Bill is a trained presenter of over 100 seminars for Walk Thru the Bible and other programs. He loves to use humor, drama and other creative means to communicate a passionate, personal and practical message.
Here at Open Door Church we have a casual atmosphere and relevant messages for everyday life. You can be sure of a warm welcome when you visit us.
We look forward to meeting those who are seeking the power of the Lord in their lives. Our wish is to get the Word of Hope to the next generation that life can be fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
Please join us any Sunday at 10am to worship the Lord with music, praise and prayer alongside some of your Novato neighbors.

Our other banner disappeared and a very kind business, Durkin Sign & Graphics in Novato, made us a new one free of charge. What a blessing! Is it any wonder we have the "Hope" from God's Word as Pastor Bill Sy has been reminding us at Sunday services? come and hear!!
WOMEN'S MEETING SEPT 4TH
Ladies, Meet in the Fellowship Hall Saturday morning at 9:30am. We'll have a time of fellowship and refreshments followed by a presentation by Rima Hardy from the Blue Star Moms of Marin. These mothers have children serving our country in the Military. It's bound to be good!
MEN'S BBQ AND FELLOWSHIP SEPT. 18
Join the men of the ODCC at 6:30pm for a great evening of food and fellowship. Guest speaker is Matt Kenny from KTLN TV, Chanel 25. It's sure to be an interesting event!
